The name 'Blue Ink' is derived from a sense of nostalgia that comes with doodling on the corners of pages, with a quintessential blue ink pen. There it is! The ultimate expression of your brain having fun while your ears and eyes are preoccupied. This is where most ideas germinate and go on to becoming the brand that you wish to be. Partner and Creative Director

Darshini is a versatile designer with a passion for printmaking, showcasing her creativity in brand identity, packaging, graphics, websites, and bespoke invitations. A 2011 graduate in textile design from NIFT Chennai, she earned an MA in Textiles with honors from Chelsea College of Art and Design, UAL, in 2014.

 

Known for her detailed, layered, and vivid work, Darshini has provided visual identity to startups in various sectors. Moonlighting as a guest faculty at NIFT, she shares her expertise in design with aspiring talents.

Partner and Client Servicing

With a decade long experience in apparel production management, Vidya has worked with a wide spectrum of global fashion brands in Knitwear and Leather industry.

A gold medalist in Knitwear Design from NIFT, Chennai and a Diploma holder in Leather and Accessory Design from Cercal in Italy, Vidya believes in giving it all until a job well done - a true perfectionist indeed! Described as a patient listener by everyone who knows her, she is sure to dissect your brand requirements to the T & help translate that to her partners & team. If you cannot find her liaising between her teammates and clients you can surely find her hiking her way across the world.

Ramya

Partner & Product Consultant

Ramya brings over 11 years of design experience in the retail menswear industry, notably with Indian Terrain Fashions Ltd. A NIFT, Chennai graduate with a Bachelors in Fashion Design, she has worked with top menswear brands and understands the Indian retail landscape, customer preferences, and design aesthetics.

 

Ramya loves traveling and spotting design trends, often joking about recognizing her designs on strangers. Her quirky humor and passion for research define her work ethic. She has organized the Design, Music, and Art festival (D.A.M.) for eight years and styled fashion campaigns with celebrities like Kunal Kapoor, Randeep Hooda, and MSD.
